You’ll see the island from Camp Bay beach in the east to West Bay beach at the western tip. You will realize firsthand how tourism has populated the western end while the east is where the locals still enjoy the uncrowded beaches, fish in the local style and cook the way their ancestors did before them.
And in between, as you make your way down the island you will experience hill top panoramic jungle and ocean views. You will see the villages and homes that locals have made for themselves; some very rural and self-sufficient while others are more crowded and communal.
The island of Roatan offers sights that range from secluded to resort populated, from quiet and restful to busy and exciting. This tour shows you all of that and helps you understand the differences that exists on the island.
